Gaby Hernández goes mutant

While working on the -soon to be announced- horror miniseries for IDW, Gabriel Hernandez is drawing mutants again!

We know Marvel wants Gaby Hernandez so bad. His watercolor art is specially awesome when it comes to tell stories about mutants… and horror. Now we can see Gaby’s art in the X-Men world at: X-MEN: CURSE OF THE MUTANTS – SMOKE AND BLOOD #1, where the mutants fight the vampire threat that menaces the Marvel Universe. And he’s doing a hell of a good job.

And while we’re waiting for the news of the upcoming horror miniseries at IDW Publishing… here is some info about his X-Men book!

From the creative team of Simon Spurrier and Gabriel Hernandez Walta! The new vampire threat has infected San Francisco and it’s up to the X-Men’s Science Team to find the cure! The team of super scientists may have bitten off more than they can chew when the X-Club loses the vampire they’ve brought in for observation. With the lab on lockdown and a vampire on the loose, the X-Club is sure of only one thing: it’s going to take more than a doctoral degree in biochemistry to survive this night!
